Madhyamaheswar & Buda Madhyamaheswar Trek (Second Kedar). Madhyamaheshwar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Goundar village, Ukhimath, Uttarakhand, India. Madhyamaheshwar is the second Kedar out of five panch Kedar. As per legends, this is the place where Lord Shiva leaves their belly / Stomach Part when Lord Shiva divides their whole body in form of a bull. As per legends when Pandavas atone their sins (For Killing Cousines) in Epic Mahabharata war at Kurukshetra, they want to visit Lord Shiva but Lord Shiva was very upset with them for their Fratricide (Gotra hatya) and Brahmanahatya (Killing of Brahmins) during the war and Lord shiva avoid them to meet for not accepting Pandavas prayer, Therefore, he assumed the form of a bull (Nandi) and hid in the Garhwal region. But later after finally Pandavas recognize Lord Shiva in form of Bull and are caught by the Pandavas then Accordance Panch Kedar Lord Shiva in the form of Bull leaves their humps at Kedarnath, Belly & Stomach at Madhyamaheshwar, Arms & legs at Tungnath, Face recognize at Rudranath and hairs at Kalpeshwar.
