DIVINE KEDARNATH WITH CHOPTA VALLEY AND TUNGNATH MAHADEV YATRA

After Reaching at Haridwar Railway station in the early morning board your vehicle and proceed to Phata / SERSI / SONPRAYAG via Deveprayag Sangam (Confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi River and origin of Ganges River) After you will also see the Dharidevi Temple which is very ancient and situated in the middle of the Alaknanda River, then proceed to Rudraprayag which is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River, the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. After Breakfast check out from hotel and Proceed to Garurikund. From Gaurikund it’s
around 18 – 19Km trek to shri Kedarnath ji. After reach at Kedarnath ji check in to hotel
and refresh yourself.Later join Evening Aarti and enjoy this divine placeof lord Shiva.
Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan and Kedarnath valley & return back to your hotel. Overnight
stay at Kedarnath. Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to LordShiva and it is also known as
Jagrit Mahadev. The winter stay of shri Kedar Baba is in Ukhimath. Ukhimath is very
beautiful small town and it is surrounded by a many of beautiful places. After Reaching at Kedarnath ji Check in to your Hotel and rest of the free at Leisure at your own.

Wake up early morning and after taking bath you are at the temple by 06:00 am to
07:00 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha
and touch the idol. You canalso prostrate with your head touching the deity etc.
After Temple Darshan trek down to Gaurikund and take a Jeep to Sonprayag.
Further drive to SONPRAYAG and board your Vehicle proceed to Ukhimath, after

After Breakfast board your vehicle and drive to Chopta (Mini Switzerland). Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area in summer and covered with snow in winter season which is a part of kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India. After reaching at Chopta continue your trek towards Tungnath (World highest lord Shiva Temple). This climb will lead you to the sacred sanctuary named as Tungnath sanctuary.
